About -TGA- || EVE-DataBase |
Public Channel: -TGA- More Information: Message Board (EXTERN) The TGA (The Guardian Agency) is a group of gamers who share the common aim to prefer playing online games, especially MMORPGs, in a community. To make it clear right from the start: Some of us know each other since 1997, since games like Diablo or Ultima Online. Most of us know their fellow gamers personally from annual real life meetings. Like every other community in this world also ours can only work if there are certain rules that every member has to follow. In former times those rules were more aligned to the incidents in a certain game. Since TGA is now appearing in several games some rules were added by pure experience of life. They extend to every days life as well. The following rules are binding on all members and will give freshmen an idea what is expected from them.
Normally you will find TGA on the good guys side. Coming from our history we are the honourably appearing "good ones" who defend the weak and challenge evil. Therefore rules for PvP are:
By disobeying this code of conduct a caution can be issued or a probation period can be imposed. A member commiting serious offenses can immediately be removed from TGA. These sanctions will either be decided by a majority of board members or by a majority of all normal members. Just a small hint for in-game conduct. Take yourself some time and assist weaker players! There is no easier way to raise TGAs call among newbies than supporting them with something that won't hurt you.
It is the trifle that keeps in mind of a new player and has a lasting effect. Remember that also new players will grow up and become stronger. This will be the time when those little gestures will pay out. TGA Overview Board The board is TGAs supreme authority and consists of five members. They can decide on all affairs by simple majority. Board decisions can only be revised by a simple majority decision of all members. Board members are responsible for diplomacy and contacts to other guilds. They plan basic matters like guilds basis, structure or general approach and take care of the community appearance to the public (eg. Homepage, Forum etc.). Wingleader Wingleader support the board by leading the single divisions. They act on their own in many affairs. They are to take care of a smooth flow in a game and adequate events. Guardians The Guardians form the vast majority of TGA. They are the backbone and the true power of the guild. Only with their help TGA can accomplish its various duties. Trainees To become a Guardian every freshman has to pass a probation period of about six weeks. During this time the Trainee will be observed by other members. The Trainee should receive help from all available Guardians as long as this can be arranged with their normal playing. The Trainee should play an active role in guilds life to leave a positive and permanent impression among normal members. Wingleader are their main contact person for all questions and problems. After the probation period there will be a survey among all members whether the Trainee will become a full member or not. Applicants A player who wants to join TGA needs to fill in an application form. This form contains some simple questions about your real life like your first name, Age, place of residence, job and family status. But this application is only a part of the effort to become a Trainee. You will also need an invitation by one or more Guardians. This will only be offered to you if you leave a positive impression to TGA over a certain period. The minimum age to join TGA is 18. |
